Launch of the Copernicus Pre-incubation Programme

In the context of their action, CNES is organizing the pre-incubation of young start-up companies planning to offer services using Copernicus data. Incubation support will be offered by Aerospace Valley and CNES.

The first round of young start-up companies has been selected (through an open call) for the pre-incubation programme. They will be supported in their creation by Aerospace Valley during a 6-months period. The selected companies are:

  • Data terrae – Offers “data as a service” and notably wants to use Copernicus for the detection and observation of cyanobacteria
  • ImaginEarth – Transforms Copernicus images into wallposters for private applications and especially event organization
  • BISCARO – Wants to offer services around “precision agriculture” based on Copernicus data and services, with a strong focus on user-friendliness

Additional calls will be published shortly. The goal is to support a total of 10 young start-ups during their creation process.
