Within the FPCUP Action 2019-2-11 “Downstream service/application development for monitoring of environmental indicators (Africa)”, a user requirement workshop was carried out on Wednesday, 24 March 2021.

During this 3-hour online workshop, researchers from the Earth Observation Center (EOC) at DLR familiarized the participants with the project and introduced to current and potential Earth Observation (EO) applications in Africa related to urbanization and migration. The main part of the workshop was centred on

  • Gathering requirements and assessing needs on EO applications for settlement monitoring
  • Stimulating exchange between different user communities, and
  • Attracting news users to Copernicus products.

Please find more information about the workshop on DLR's website.
